1. What are insurance replacement rates? [Back to Top]
Insurance replacement rates are based on calendar day, which means that every day of the calendar counts as one day's rental. Insurance companies reimburse you and are directly billed in that fashion.

3. Will you bill my insurance company or any other 3rd party company? [Back to Top]
Yes, we will bill any 3rd party company as a courtesy to our customers with their approval. All rental and claim expenses will remain the sole responsibility of the renter. If the 3rd party fails to remit payment within 30 days of billing, you will be held responsible for payment.
4. What do I need to rent a car? [Back to Top]
You will need a valid driver’s license and a major credit card with a minimum credit approval of $500.00. Debit card use for initial rental may require manager approval. Please call our office for more information relating to using your visa/master debit card for rental purposes. You will also need to maintain at least the minimum required auto insurance of PIP, liability and bodily injury.
5. Will my existing insurance cover me when I am driving a rental? [Back to Top]
Yes, in most cases your existing insurance will cover your liability while you are driving a rental. However, your collision coverage may not cover the rental vehicle. You may elect to purchase Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) to relieve your responsibilty for damages to the vehicle.
6. What is CDW? [Back to Top]
CDW stands for Collision Damage Waiver. It is a "guarantee" that the rental company will pay for damages to your rented car. It is not technically "insurance." If you do not buy CDW coverage or are not covered by your personal auto insurance policy, you could be liable for the full value of the car. CDW only covers the renter and authorized drivers and so long as there are no violations of your rental agreement.
